We don’t stop at finding you the right employees and getting them jobsite-ready. MEMCO also handles every aspect of payroll, including processing, pay distribution, and all federal and state unemployment reporting, payments, and claims. We manage all FICA withholding and reporting, and we carry workers’ compensation, general liability, and umbrella insurance for all employees paid through MEMCO.
We also take care of drug screening, background checks, I-9 eligibility compliance, certified payroll reporting, OSHA certification, and direct-hire recruiting. In short, we manage your workforce—so you don’t have to.
Our story began when our parent company, Marek, faced a fluctuating job market, increasing demand for a reliable workforce, and rising costs tied to unemployment and workers’ compensation—especially for new hires. To manage these challenges, Marek partnered with staffing agencies and refined this model over the next decade. The result was MEMCO: a purpose-built solution designed to support our partners across the commercial construction industry.
Since then, MEMCO has delivered hundreds of millions of manhours and grown to support a significant portion of the U.S. market, bringing strategic staffing solutions to a wide array of industries. Our commitment remains strong: to connect top talent with top companies, safely, efficiently, and dependably.
Today MEMCO is a full-service payroll and staffing agency with a focus on skilled trades, general labor, and professional personnel. We proudly serve a wide range of industries, including commercial construction, light industrial, manufacturing, hospitality, and more.
With decades of experience, MEMCO has earned a trusted reputation for providing reliable, safety-focused workforce solutions tailored to the evolving needs of both clients and employees.
MEMCO Staffing has been a great business tool for us. They help us with temporary labor and have filled several of our permanent positions over the past two years. Great folks, great customer service and a pleasure to work with.
Very streamlined process. Came in and got set up immediately. Got called for work the next day with great pay. The people are awesome as well—really easy to call and communicate with.
